Ryaan Ranch Wildlife Trust is a visionary non-profit conservation initiative, officially registered in 2025 under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, with its registered office in New Delhi, India. Created out of a deep sense of ecological responsibility and personal connection to nature, the trust embodies a longterm commitment to biodiversity preservation, wildlife protection, and sustainable forest-based development.
“Protect wildlife, preserve natural habitats, and promote peaceful coexistence between humans and animals through sustainable conservation efforts, field-based action, and inclusive community engagement.”
“A future where wildlife thrives in harmony with human communities, sustaining the delicate balance of our ecosystem for generations to come.”
At Ryaan Ranch Wildlife Trust, we are committed to a holistic model of conservation—one that not only protects wildlife and ecosystems but also uplifts local communities and encourages sustainable coexistence. Our mission is grounded in the belief that long-term environmental preservation requires an integrated approach encompassing restoration, education, action, and partnership.
The land is home to seasonal and perennial streams, rain-fed ponds, and underground aquifers that support both wildlife and vegetation year-round. These water sources are essential for the survival of elephants, deer, monkeys, birds, and many smaller species, especially during dry spells.

With no harmful fencing, pollution, or agricultural chemicals, the entire 25-acre stretch remains wildlife-friendly, allowing animals to graze, rest, and migrate freely. Human access is strictly controlled for conservation purposes.

Read MoreThe Ryaan Ranch Reserve lies directly within a known elephant corridor, used by wild herds to travel between feeding and resting zones. Our land has become a trusted resting and grazing site—offering natural fodder, water, and undisturbed silence.
Read MoreNestled deep within the Shankarkode region of Karulai, Nilambur, the Ryaan Ranch Reserve spans 25 acres of privately protected forest land. This sacred patch of earth lies at the edge of the Karimpuzha Wildlife Sanctuary and is completely surrounded by untouched rainforest, ancient hills, and meandering rivers. More than just land—it is a living sanctuary, a breathing extension of the larger Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, and a symbol of hope for a future where forests are preserved, not plundered.
At Ryaan Ranch Wildlife Trust, every day in the forest tells a story—of survival, migration, birth, coexistence, and healing. As our conservation journey unfolds, we aim to capture and share these powerful stories through a dedicated Media & Storytelling Platform.
